Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: July 30, 2026 · Version 2026-07-30

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to each customer, authorized user, visitor, integration, and person who accesses BayNerve. It supplements the Terms of Service.

Customers are responsible for their users and for activity performed through their workspace, credentials, API connections, portal links, and connected services.

2. Unlawful or harmful use

You may not use BayNerve to violate law, facilitate fraud or theft, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, harass or threaten a person, distribute unlawful or deceptive content, or create a material risk to a vehicle, person, property, or service.

You may not knowingly create false repair, inspection, approval, payment, accounting, or safety records, or misrepresent AI-generated or unverified information as a completed professional determination.

3. Security and access

You may not probe or bypass security or access controls, access another workspace without authorization, share individual credentials, introduce malware, intercept traffic, obtain data through scraping or automated extraction, or disrupt the service or its providers.

You may not run abusive automation, generate excessive traffic, evade rate or usage controls, or consume resources in a way that threatens service availability for others.

Security research requires prior written authorization. Report a suspected vulnerability privately to the support contact below and do not access, retain, or disclose data beyond what is necessary to describe the issue.

4. Data, media, and communications

Do not submit information, recordings, images, documents, logos, messages, or other content unless the customer has the rights and permissions needed to process it through BayNerve.

Do not upload Social Security numbers, full payment card numbers, account passwords, highly sensitive medical information, biometric identifiers, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for an automotive shop workflow or that BayNerve is not designed to receive.

Do not use communication tools or exported information for spam, unlawful marketing, impersonation, harassment, or messaging that lacks required consent. Customers are responsible for opt-out and suppression duties connected to their communications.

5. Platform and integration misuse

You may not resell access, operate BayNerve as a service bureau for an unaffiliated business, copy the interface or source, reverse engineer the service except where a restriction is prohibited by law, evade subscription limits, or use BayNerve to benchmark or build a competing service without written permission.

Connected services may impose additional restrictions. You may not use BayNerve to bypass a provider's terms, payment controls, rate limits, or account restrictions.

You may not treat unreviewed AI, transcription, vehicle, recall, calculation, or automation output as the sole basis for a safety-critical repair, inspection, or roadworthiness decision.

6. Enforcement

Gearbox Technologies LLC may investigate suspected violations and can restrict content, a feature, an integration, an account, or a workspace when reasonably necessary to stop harm, protect the service, or comply with law.

When practical and safe, the customer will receive notice and an opportunity to address a violation. Serious, repeated, unlawful, or security-sensitive violations can result in immediate restriction or suspension.

Questions and security reports may be sent to info@gearboxtechnologies.com.
