Terms of Use

BayNerve is operated by Gearbox Technologies LLC. BayNerve is automotive shop and work order software designed to help repair shops manage work orders, vehicle records, technician assignments, notes, photos, attachments, and related shop workflow information.

These Terms of Use describe the basic rules for accessing and using BayNerve. By using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, when applicable, the shop or workspace you represent.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless the activity results from a failure by BayNerve to use reasonable safeguards.

BayNerve accounts are intended for people authorized to use a shop workspace. You should not access a workspace unless you have been invited or otherwise authorized by the shop.

A shop workspace is controlled by the shop owner and users with administrative authority in that workspace. Shop administrators may invite users, assign roles, manage access, and remove or deactivate user accounts according to the tools available in the service.

Shop workspace data belongs to the shop or workspace, not individual technician accounts. Historical work order, vehicle, note, image, assignment, and activity records may remain with the shop even if a user account is removed or deactivated.

Users represent that they own or have permission to upload logos, shop names, photos, documents, notes, audio, transcriptions, and other content submitted to BayNerve.

The shop or user keeps ownership of uploaded content. BayNerve does not claim ownership of uploaded shop content. You grant BayNerve a limited permission to host, store, display, process, and transmit uploaded content as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and support the service.

You may not use BayNerve to break the law, violate the rights of others, upload malicious code, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, abuse invitations or accounts, or submit content that you do not have the right to use.

You may not copy, reverse engineer, or misuse the service except as allowed by law or by written permission from Gearbox Technologies LLC.

BayNerve helps organize shop workflow and records. It does not replace professional repair judgment, shop procedures, technician training, vehicle manufacturer guidance, safety standards, or required inspections.

Users are responsible for reviewing work order information and making service decisions based on their own professional judgment and applicable requirements.

BayNerve may include AI, voice, transcription, summarization, or automation features. Outputs from those features must be reviewed by users and are not guaranteed to be complete, accurate, current, or appropriate for a particular situation.

Users remain responsible for verifying information before relying on it in shop operations or service records.

Some BayNerve features may require a paid subscription or paid seats. Billing terms, prices, renewal rules, cancellation rules, and payment processor terms may be presented separately when billing is enabled or when a shop starts a subscription.

If third-party payment processors are used, their terms may also apply to payment processing.

Gearbox Technologies LLC may suspend or terminate access to BayNerve if an account or workspace violates these terms, creates security or operational risk, or uses the service in a way that may harm BayNerve or others.

A shop may remove or deactivate user accounts. When that happens, historical shop records, including work orders, vehicles, notes, images, assignments, and activity records, may remain in the shop workspace.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Gearbox Technologies LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from use of BayNerve.

BayNerve is provided without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every shop process or use case.

Gearbox Technologies LLC may update these terms from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date will be updated. Continued use of BayNerve after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms.
